Sashiko for Beginners
In this class you will learn some of the history behind this Japanese stitching technique as well as go over some of the different techniques that people might use to create their own simple yet stunning embellishments or works of art. To get you started on your own Sashiko journey you will be provided with your own square of pre-printed linen that you can either turn into pocket patch for your jeans, a coaster, or a simple piece of art to frame for your walls at home.
So join us for an evening of culture and fun!
Class price includes instruction, a pre-printed linen, thread (your color choice), and a Sashiko needle.
